New torch!

Good evening all, so I got my first ever torch coral today. I am acclimating it now. Kind of excited, kind of nervous. Any tips or tricks for them that I should know? This is only my 2nd ever LPS. Once it gets over its trauma of all the changes it has gone thru to get here I will post a pic of it.

Be careful it doesn't have too much direct flow hitting it. And give it some space. You'd be amazed how far those polyps can extend.

This is a little too much flow. You want them to be gently flowing in the current. Try just a little less, if you can. Beautiful torch!

Towards the end of the video you can see his the torch moves. I like to have a gentle follow with some random bursts if that makes sense lol

Makes perfect sense. I am just not sure I can change the flow and that is the best location for it in my tank. The flow is coming from an HOB. Filter, and it is in the only place I can have it.

So when I turned off one of my power heads, the flow slowed, seems like too much. I will play around with things tomorrow and see what I can come up with. Thank you for your help. I will post again sometime this weekend for some more input.
