I think for the new year, I am going to stop growing frags and instead just grow Bryopsis.

My daughter's 25G cube tank has developed a bad bryopsis problem. Must have come in with a frag. I've never had the misfortune of bryopsis before in my 12 years of reefing, so I suppose this is God's way of keeping the hobby interesting for me. Anyway, I'm going to try fluconazole treatment---and make sure that nothing that touches my daughter's tank is used in my main tank.

Beginning to think I'm just a bryopsis farmer lately.

Came in on a frag, thought I killed with Flux RX, came back 4 months later, used flux RX again, and now I'm waiting to see if it pops up again.

I had a briopsis outbreak in my 210g many years back and it took a good 6 months to get it all cleaned up (no treatment used, just husbandry and UAS). Now i am fighting one in the 40g/20g system. Just treated it with fluconazole two days ago. We will see. Here are some of my farming...

I got a sea slug that's suppose to eat Bryopsis. I have been trying to avoid any chemical treatments. I'm not against them. I use chemicals to grow alfalfa hay and beautiful tomatoes.
What's funny is that the Bryopsis likes my equipment, the frag rack and the power heads.

Any effects on your corals using Flux RX?

I had a few clumps in my tank PO near .1. Nitrates at 35-40
Maybe I should grow it in my fug
