Thanks for the follow hotashes.

Things are going slowly as I wait for my rock to cure (luckily my wife is finding plenty of things for me to do so I don’t get bored). My RODI unit should be arriving this week, so at least I can get my water mixing station set up. I’m also hoping to get the tank’s back glass painted sometime this week.

I’ll post some pics when I have some progress to show.

Following along, this is the tank I want as my Home Reef eventually.
Why sumpless out of interest?

Hi Ratvan.
I decided to go sumpless partly because I was unsure about drilling the tank and partly (mostly) because it would have meant building my own stand and my wife was unconvinced of my ability to make it pretty enough to be in HER house.

As it happens I've now got a tank with a sump, which i really need to update the build thread for.
