So I got my paws on a nice 125g and stand. Just starting to formulate my plan. Current 55g FOWLR will become the sump. Looking at lighting options. I know LEDs are the way of the future and I've been hesitant to leave my T5s. Since this tank will be the centerpiece of the room (a 52" TV will be mounted on the wall over it). I need low profile lighting. Obviously me huge T5 setups won't do here. This will be a full reef tank and I want it to be able to handle any coral I want to put in it. So, since I'm a ways off from purchasing... I want to go ahead and plan which ones to watch for sales on.
I picked out a few that look decent but I am light dumb!!! What type and how many would I need of these for a 6' tank.

The Last deal looks pretty awesome.

Check out Reef Breeders' Value fixtures. They are full spectrum and you would need three for your tank. You can get a great deal on them if you get in a group buy under the reef breeder forum.
The fixtures you are looking at are only blue/white channel. Reconsider using "non full spectrum" fixture as these are now outdated.

Ok so got the lights picked out... Thank you for the reefbreeders tip ;).

Lets talk return pump and skimmer.
Dual overflow into a 55g DIY sump... With a 4- 4 1/2ft rise. Eheim 1262 or Mag 9.5?

And looking at an MRC skimmer rated for 150g in sump.

Thoughts ... Advice... Hints and tips...
