I am thinking about updating the wave-maker in my 60G cube (2x2x2). It is a fully stocked tank with 100LBS of rock, mainly BTA's and euphyllia corals.

Does anyone have any experience with a gyre pump in a cube?

I have 2x IceCap 1ks in my 45gal cube. One would have sufficed at 50% power however given my aquascape I added the second to eliminate some dead spots in the rear/corners of the tank.

Older photo but I have since moved both to the back glass, one pushing water to the front of the tank in the traditional horizontal potion. The second is placed vertically in the back left corner with the lower nozzle sweeping the rear of the tank (left to right) and the other nozzle pushing water forward along the side of the tank (back to front).

Hi! It's been a while but do you have a picture of the new set up you mentioned?
