Hello everyone, this is my first post :) I made the mistake of ordering a few items from someone that I should have researched a little better. Not only am I new to the forum, but new to saltwater as well. I have had freshwater tanks for 25 years and finally deciding to join the other side.

Anyway, my order came in with a whole lot of hitchhikers I was curious about. I believe one of them was a spaghetti worm, there was some kind of crab, mottled tanish colored with white claws. I will need to get a better photo of him, he is still separated. To be honest I don't think I'm going to put any of this order in my tank. :( Anyway, here are a few photos of what I found so far, on top of a few bristleworms and a mini brittle star. The zoa also looks like it has pox. Very disappointed.

I'm guessing the first photo is a feather duster? I got a close up of that one yesterday. This is the other photo I have of the crab. I will take him out of the branched coralline when I get home and try to get a macro shot of him. He's pretty tiny.

The red tube thing had one of those pointed screw type shells at the very bottom and the rest was attached to it and it smelled. I don't know what it was, but it was pretty large.

Know you are looking for advice/help but hoping you will accept some encouragement instead!

First - Welcome to R2R!

Second - We all make these rookie mistakes so don’t be too hard on yourself. The important thing is that we learn from them and don’t repeat.

Finally - You seem to be pretty knowledgeable already. Big part of this hobby is figuring things out as they occur. You are already way a head!

Good luck and keep us up with your progress!

Oh yea - and fabulous pictures!!!
