Saw this guy pop out after feeding, and OMG he is lightning fast. Thoughts?

Nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope. That looks to be a eunice worm. Kill it with fire.
Yup, I'm thinking the same. I have some in my tanks. So far showing detritivore behavior, but one is noticeably larger than I remember it... Might want to get that thing out if you can.

Don't quote me on this but pretty sure if 5 tentacle things at head it's a kind of eunicid worm and if got 4 then a dorvidea worm,if look like yours as hundreds variety juat in eunicid worm alone.

Not that it matters but just out curiosity how big is it ?

Sounds right to me as well

Not all are terrors… I have a couple as hitchhikers from some KP Aquatics live rock and they’ve been harmless for over a year (and stay small)

Good reference site

Lots of DIY bottle traps can make cheaply for catching worms like in this video.
All depends on size of your worm you want to catch and if the worm completely comes out of its burrow/ rock if it even has one,so need see this first or not.
For the smaller ones heard works good and some even mention putting sone woman's tights in there as worm gets caught in it ( think americans call panti hose)

Recently found another worm referenced that confounds the ID:

While the Diopatra (family: Onuphidae) is in the Order Eunicida, as are the families Dorvillidae and Eunicidae, both Onuphidae and Eunicidae have 5 large tentacles. So, another one to throw in the mix!

Thanks for the replies, it's rather small but it moves very very fast when I poked my head around the side of the tank. Just got rid of Mr. Nasty Gorilla Crab, looks like I'm on a new mission. The joys of live rock/live sand. LOL. But so far no regrets.
