So, I just got a new Redhead Salon Wrasse 3 days ago. Haven't really seen much of him since I added him. So I just found him (see below). He's not eating and is just chillin on the sand. Not breathing hard, but just doesn't look well. All my parameters are fine... just wondering if this is normal?

Scared stressed. Normal to a extent.usually come out after a day or 2. Hope he makes it

Thanks for everything so far.

It's a 75g w/ 60 lbs of rock and cave work.
For the fish (everything is less than 3 inches): 2 clarkiis, 3 blue-green chromises, 1 damsel, 1 tomini tang, 2 scooter dragonets, 1 flame angel, 3 blennies, 3 gobies, 1 lubbocks wrasse and some inverts. Nothing is real aggressive, the clarkiis are territorial of their nems.

Still, there are some potential aggressors in there. If an existing tankmate is forcing him into hiding every time he tries to come out, this is not likely to end well. Otherwise, he should de-stress in a few days time.

Thanks for the heads up. I've been watching everyone, and they really seem to ignore him during the day, but after the moon light comes on tonight.... I'll pay closer attention!

Same thing happened to me when I added my red head Solon except he looked a little healthier than yours. Anyways, he hid for three days and now he is out all the time. Give him some time and hopefully he will un stress. But watch out for him being bullied.

wait... you have 18 fish in a 75? That could do t right there. There is nowhere for him to just hang out without being on top of some strange fish.

So, guy, guess what?! I've found the problem. My terrorist Clarkiis strike again. He tried to come out, and the GD female went crazy on him... to the point that I had to LITERALLY swat her away. If I can catch these two Clarkiis, they are GONE. They are such awful fish! Ugh!

Uh, with 18 fish in a 75... You are going to have territory issues. It is not the clowns fault. Your fish density is way too high.
