My current tank is 3 1/2 years old 100 gallon 4ft x 2ft x 20 inch tank. With live rock and several softies. Current resident are a mature formosa wrasse, about 6 ~ 7 inches. Two tangs, 4 inch blue hippo tang, 4 inch powder blue tang, and a pair of snowflake clown fish. Tank has been disease free for two years since I QT all the fish and coral + fallow the tank in extended period. Formosa wrasse never shows aggression to other fished during this 3 1/2 years.

I am thinking to add more flasher wrasse and fairy wrasse. Is there any rule I need to follow like the gender and quantity? I have seen some post said gender is not a problem if keeping several fairy/flasher wrasse. And it is best to keep 3 at a time. Saw a royal flasher wrasse and a red fin fairy wrasse and want to see if they are compatible to my current livestock.

Thanks in advance

Thanks! Although my Formosa is chill, it might not be a good idea to add other wrasse. I will research more alternative.
