New wrasse , white on dorsal

so I fell i love with a mellanarus and did a quick qt dropped him in my tank. He dissapears for a few days then appears and gone again. Part of the family now but i notice a white dot on top of his dorsal fin looks a bit bigger than yesterday,,, see pic- anything to worry about ?

Looks like a spot of lymphocystis. It's a virus, so there's no "cure" - but it's fairly comparable to cold sores in humans. Good food, vitamin supplementation, good water quality will help the fish to defeat it, and keep it at bay.

+1, I wouldn't worry too much. Just keep an eye on it.

I dont' think I would have put Rally in the display. I don't care what they say about it being reef safe, it's just a risk I wouldn't take. I agree that it looks like lympho which doesn't have a cure. Clean water, low stress and lots of healthy food will help with that.
