New wrasse

Bought a new wrasse yesterday McCosker. Added it and the 6 line was chasing it. Afterwards it was hanging out around the bottom breathing heavy. 2nd day now and still hanging on sand bed breathing heavy. What should I do?

Take it out. I had a 6 line torment my dottyback to death saw the same behavior from dottyback as you are seeing. Or get rid of six line... they don’t make good tank mates in my experience.

And I could be wrong but I don’t think wrasse and wrasse share tanks very well. But 6 lines are especially evil.

6 lines are really aggressive. Put one or the other in an acclimation box.

How big is the tank and what are the other tankmates?

6 lines can be aggressive almost killed my orchid dottyback. luckily it found it's way into the sump.
