Good Afternoon all,

I hope this finds you all well, as always its better to be part of a community that understands these things and i appreciate any help with this as i go along, I've read a few posts and probably most of this will have been asked elsewhere, but my mind doesn't work the way it once did, so i'm starting a fresh.

currently setup with a 360l old freshwater tank that has been converted to a salt with
2 x aquis one 1250l external cannister filters with inline 200 watt heaters
2 x vectron 600 UV sterilisers with pump
1 x ARL refugium tube thing with pump
2 x mp40
3 x eco radion xr15 pro
1 x surface mount skimmer (not great)

currently a few snails, a few shrimp, orange spot goby, peacock wrasse and a couple of fox face, 2 main corals and a few stragglers

I have been very lucky and managed to get a Red Sea Reefer 525XL which will be delivered in a few weeks, i need to prep and get everything else ordered at the same time, as it needs to be a days transition, i could do with a little input/help with a few recommendations.

i will be transferring the MP40s, the Eco Radions and the UV over, i have ordered a Eco tech Vectra M2 and a red sea reefer RSK 600 protein skimmer, 2 x d & d 300 watt titanium heaters with a dual controller.

this will be a long term/last tank i want to take it slow but want it tomorrow all at the same time.

How does this sound for a base ? what else do i need, the plumbing i'm not sure on as i may need tubing for the return pump ? would it be better to install a manifold system now or can this be done at a later date ? im contemplating on a Nyos Torq for my carbon etc and eventually an Apex.

Many Thanks for any input.

Kind Regards

Alex

Welcome to Reef2Reef!!! IMO the manifold system can be done at anytime. Do you have an ATO?
