New Yellow Coralgoby with a spot...

So I picked this guy up yesterday and noticed this tiny spot on his tail, Google didn't return anything of value so here I am.

He's super active and silly and a delightful addition to the tank... but i noticed this little black spot on his tail fin after turning the lights on. Doesn't seem to bother him in any visible way, just trying to confirm it's a harmless anomaly and not an indication of some illness or parasite.

It does not look parasitical or bacterial and may be one to keep an eye on. Could be an isopod but a mere guess as photo is distant from tail. If a pod of any sort, a freshwater dip for 5 minutes, same temp as display tank would cause it to fall off --- otherwise keep an eye on it. If it moves to different spot, then you know its a pod.
