New yellow watchman not settling in

Hi all,
I just got a new watchman goby and hes in my 90 gallon mixed reef with tons of rock, sand, and coral. Water parameters are good, tank is just over a year old.
currently have 2 clownfish, 1 female Lyretail anthias and a green mandarin. I added him last night after acclimating and he is still in the same corner hoping up and down and back and forth. He’s super pale and clearly stressed out.
How do I help him settle down? There is tons of rock and sand for him to make a cave and hide if he wants but he is just stressing out in the open…

Mine did the same thing for a week. I decided to add a pistol shrimp as his buddy. Took to eachother within the hour and made a cave together. From then on Ill always have a pistol/goby pair! My two gobies share a shrimp currently, just waiting for LFS to get another shrimp in for the other goby!

Thanks for the reply. I want a pistol shrimp but there aren’t any at my LFS currently. I’ll keep my eye out though.

I got my first pistol on bluezoo aquatics actually, really like them! They only have tigers, which is what I currently have. Could try ordering one

Same here. Mine seemed very stressed until it found the pistol shrimp.

How new exactly is he? Fish can often be very stressed when added to a tank. Can you show a picture of the tank as well, please?
