New zoa frags coming in this weekend

I am getting new Zoa frags 1-3 poly of each and wanted to know is it better to remove them from small plug and put them on a 2 inch frag disk? I want to let them grow out a little so i can frag 2 poly to have as a backup.

I heard they grow better when glued to a rock or larger frag disk?

Never heard of it growing better on a disk. I usually let new frags grow on my frag rack, Then place them onto the rock work

You can let them grow out on the plug until they have no more room than cut stem of plug and glue to disk. It’s adds a nice visual hump in the middle as it grows out to the new disc.

I usually let them grow out on the plug and grow onto rock from there. i dont remove them from plug.

I don't replace mine. Just put a disc next to the plug for them to grow over on. Then separate and place one in rocks and keep other in frag tank
