Bough a zoa frag Friday. Lights on a timer because I was away for the weekend but anytime my room dorm closes they close. Is that normal as they are still acclimating to the tank?

Yes exactly that. It’s at my work. So people are coming in and out of the room. But yes the vibration is what I’m worried about.Zoas acclimate pretty fast in healthy tanks. Are you saying that your door is slamming shut, and then they close up? Do you think they are reacting to harsh vibrations? Not sure what you're describing.
Yes just not fully extended I’ll try moving them. I have a feeling it’s the water flow. But I’m also not sure what the intensity should be for them either. Kinda been doin a trail and error with the lightingThe bass on my stereo surely causes a lot more vibrations than doors opening and closing, My tanks are just a few feet away from the speakers, and it doesn't bother my corals.
As mentioned above, zoa's should open up pretty quickly. There is something about the tank that makes it unhappy. Either, lighting, flow, or parameters.
Are they ever open?
