I just picked up a zoa yesterday and it hasn't opened yet I'm new to this and not sure why its hasn't opened up yet is it still acclimating to my lighting? Should I be worried?

Try giving it a dip. Always works for me with new zoanthids if they dont open within 3 or 4 days

Would I take it out and dip it in or just drip over the top of it? I'm going to give it a few days first before I do anything.

Dipping absolutely - (keep an eye for hitchhikers! ) zoas will tell you when something is wrong- also move it around if you have no luck some are very picky when it comes to finding a spot they like- I have a zoa garden with all different types, and still have some zoas that don’t enjoy the same spot that most of them are at-

Awesome thanks so much and what kind of hitchhikers would I mostly be looking for?

Your tank looks awesome

With zoas? Do some research, nudibranch, flat worms are common- look for eggs- there’s a ton of info on this site- and plenty of people that can help and guide you in the right direction- do your research!

For a dip you would take it out, there are instructions on the bottles usually. My zoanthids respond really positively to lugol's

Should I just drop this colony looks like one might be melting

I'd do an iodine dip today while your waiting on your Furan 2. If you can easily remove the dying polyp then no harm, no foul to the colony. Furan 2 works well on pox. You should always have this on hand if you are going to buy zoas as its common. And truthfully you should set up a small (12gl) quarantine for all corals to go into before hitting your display as there are much harder to remove pests out there than this easy fix. Just my opinion after 29 years.

Can’t give up that easily brother !
Of course not bro but just dont wanna nuke my tank either but I talked to a reputable local mom and pop shop and told me to use revive coral cleaner by two little fishies
