New Zoa questions

I purchased some starter corals which included zoas of course.
The frag disk is in qt and seems to be growing!
I was curious on the following

1. How long do people qt zoas​

2. Do people remove the frag disk​

a. if so how is removal accomplished.​

3. what is the a good way glue zoas? supper glue and aquascape fix?​

I never heard of qt corals. Just dip em and sit em haha

Dip them and put them somewhere in the tank.of they open and grow cement them.if they dont move them to they are happy

I do a real soft shake when they are in my dip cup and usually a few things fall off. If they don’t open I’ll do it against the next day. If they still won’t open up all the way I’ll get all the polyps closed and fresh water dip them because when the polyps are closed up nothing can get inside. Usually works wonders for me to get the parasites and nasties off. My zoas are happy atm

I diped them before adding to the qt tank but they were closed. Thanks for the dipping tip!

You don't remove the frag disk off the zoas in your tank? You have a nice garden of zoas in your pic!

Nope I cut the stem off with bone cutters cement it where I want them and left them grow and cover it. You'll never see the disc again.this one is almost covered already too.
