I purchased a Zoa frag and it’s my first coral the tank is relatively new but the dude at the fish store said they’re hearty and safe to put in a new tank im just wondering if it’s normal for corals that have been in a tank for a limited amount of time with stay closed and what perameters should I pay attention to to keep a Cora healthy

That tank looks very new. When did you set it up? Also coral can take time to adjust to a new tank. What are all of your water parameters and lighting used?

More than likely, it’s due to a new tank which lacks nutrients.
