New zoas not opening.

I'll up my GFO tonight when I get home and skip feeding the fish. I ordered some chaeto and ulva(edit, my phone corrected that as vulva and evidently that's ok to say on here, LOL), if the both flop I'll sell my H380 and use that money to get an ATS... I've never heard of anyone that has bad luck with an ATS, but only witches and warlocks can grow chaeto I seems.

My zoas weren't opening due to algae also. I used tweezers to get what I could and they opened for a while but it didn't take long to grow back. I have seen people on you tube having good results with a peroxide dip. I glued mine to rock so the dip isn't an option for me, and don't want to dose my tank. Definatly need to get water parameters in check too though. Good luck, following to see how it goes and how you remedy this problem.

Thanks, I'll try and keep you updated but if I forget about this thread I post in my build thread(link in signature) almost daily, at least a few times a week. Right now I'm gonna hope on GFO for now, and then macro algae under my H380. Hopefully that will be here with my CUC Wednesday. If that doesn't work I'm going to try and DIY an acrylic ATS over the refugium section of my Eshopps cube nano refugium.
