its still a work in progress i wish i could afford power heads but i am using some old wisper filter motors as power heads till i come back from china in two months

any suggestions on how to better this tank without spending much just bought a house cant afford more equip

Welcome Reeferman! Keep an eye on the "Dry Goods for sale" forum on R2R for any future upgrades to your tank. It can save you a lot of $$. You may want to pick up a skimmer. Once you see what it'll pull out of your tank, you'll be glad you did.

i had one built but i lost the air stone that goes in and have not bought another i love protien skimmers and want to purchase a good one eventually i wish i could find one real cheap but that wont happen. i am going to china for two months and really wish i had one on while i was gone so it would be easier for my fish sitter . but what is the difference in a surface skimmer and a regular skimmer ? and the pros and cons of each

ok got moved almost lost everything but it was a success id lost 1 frag of zoas and thats it and my tank looks alot better some of the big stones got broke durring the move so it added some rubble to the look ill upload images soon

Welcome to the forum, those are some nice fish. Lots of people here to help!

I am not sure what you mean by surface or regular skimmer. You will want a skimmer designed for saltwater. As opposed to a "surface" skimmer designed for ponds or freshwater.
