Newbie 3D questions

I just my picked up an Ender 5 pro. I’ve done some of the small test / calibration prints and have been doing a ton of downloading files I want to print.
Two things. why is PetG recommended all over the reefing posts? Has anyone used or found some filament that’s really reactive or bright near our blue tank lights?

PETG is safe, harder and more temp resistance then PLA. Normally florescence color like Yellow, Orange and Green colors are good with led lights

Let me know what you think of your printer. That’s the one I plan to purchase. Debating between the printer or a tabletop laser cutter

I haven’t gotten as far as making my own. Just downloading other peoples files from Thingiverse

Blender is open source and available for free. You can get a variety of slicers like cura and orca slicer for free to generate your printers gcode from the stl files.

It's for shipping frags, I make them so they fit the jars. The holes have pieces that stick out to hold the plug in place during shipping. The second pic is a smaller one inside a jar. I suppose you could use them for dipping too. I can load the frags into the holder and keep it in the frag tank, when I'm ready to ship it I put it in the jar and pack it.

For generating or making models Fusion 360 and Tinkercad are the most used
