The frags still haven opened. The only thing that opened in a bad polyp (I forgot the name lol) that I KILLED. I have added LEDs since my last thread. The person at the fish store tested the water and he said the only thing he could think of is why they haven't opened is because the alkalinity is a little bit to high but it would't usually effect anything because it is just a little over average. A 50% water change killed the freaking damsels...ugh:sad:. The salinity have been raised for a week or so from 1.0225 to 1.025. The he told me the ph was fine and because I am me, I didn't even ask for specifics. I test the ph and it is 8.6, isn't 8.2 perfect and 8.6 is okay? I have since moved the water to a 40g with the sumo water to fill it. I have been seeing an abundance of mini stars but no bugs. I also added more live rock and a.............snowflake moray! I added him after a couple days of changing to the 40g breeder. I have offered ghost shrimp but he still has not eaten. Just setting in I guess. I realized the powerhead is not safe because it shocked me when I touched it to move it. I am working on getting a new one. So I just need a buffer for alk., a new powerhead and to not do huge water changes, probably 10-20% now. Is there I way I can take out the water I want to change and do something so it is reusable? I hate wasting the salt.
