Newbie 44gal reef. Have New filter. Lighting question

I apoligise if this is redundant as i just dont have the time to search the forums right now.
I am brand new to saltwater. Have experiance w fresh water.
So i have a 44 pentagon corner tank and i just picked up a brand new fluval 306 for $70!
I was going to get a used coralife 30" t5 HO but after talking w my friend i think im going to pass on that one.
Any suggestions on lighting for my 44gal? I know its kinda vague but what are you guys using for coral? Thanks

It also depends on what coral you want to have. Dual t5s will grow corals like softies and some lps but you might have trouble growing sps like montiporas and acroporas. T5 bulbs you have to replace every 8-10 months or else you'll have them grow algae instead of coral. I suggest going LED's because they will last you years and your electric bill won't be high and they won't heat up your tank like T5s.

Don't know much about them but since your new and I assume you want to buy something budget friendly I recommended reef breeders. A lot people have good reviews with them and you'd only need one fixture for your tank. They will grow corals very well. You can find a good fixture for about $200-250
