Newbie behavior question

My male has been zooming around the tank for days. They've been together since the store but now she's taken to nipping at him. She bullies/ chases him a lot and now he seems to never settle down. My question is, do you think that he is ill with something or do you think it's her being relentless driving him crazy? I'm trying to figure out how to upload a video.

I would guess then that they are determining which one will become female and which will become male. The one doing the picking on will become female and the one getting picked on will become male.
