Hi all. Joined R2R in April as I started my research into the world of SW. I have been a Discus keeper for several years, with a 6ftL - 120 g and DIY sump/plumbing. So, I have some experience, however the more research I do on SW the more scared I get! This is big investment with the equipment I will need. I want to get the good and needed stuff right off the bat, so as not to waste $$$. Been there, done that! I have a 75g 48"L tank that I am thinking for a mixed reef. I have been watching lots of youtube vids, like BRS 's 52 weeks (awesome) and reading lots on R2R. I have even compared costs between US and Canadian on-line supplies, as LFS just don't have the equipment I will need. I am super envious of the availability of corals you folk in the USA have compared to up here. We need more! Cheers, stoked and scared!

Welcome to R2R and to the salty side. Scary maybe, but you can do it.

Welcome to R2R! Don't be scared, just like anything else, it takes time and patience! Listen to what the good folks on this forum have to say and you'll be fine.;)

75 is a good tank to start with. Welcome to R2R from the hot southern US:)

I remember when I converted my fresh water tank over to salt.... I know what you are feeling, but trust me, You are going to love it. It just takes things to a new level.
This is a great site to ask questions.
Good luck and go for it !

Welcome home, you will love it here!

My first salt/reef tank was a 75! Keep us posted with the build with lots of photos :)
