Not even sure this pic will post correctly. sigh

I'm here to watch and learn. I currently have a 150g reef tank, happy with my current fish population, but would like to add some more color w/frags and such.

First time in a Reef forum, so please be gentle! :-)

Thanks! I've been lurking for a while, but just recently got up the nerve to participate. If you don't mind my asking, how on earth do you build out your profile on this forum? All opinions welcome!

Welcome to R2R!!

Hi Laura,

Glad to see you here :)
Looking great! Do you have any ideas about future fish?
How long are you in hobby?

We've had this tank for about four years, but I've been keeping creatures in wet places since childhood. I worked my way forward starting with things I caught in the creek (farmlife) and advanced up to brackish, but this is my first full salt setup.

I think I've gotten my fish pop where I want it, but I'd like to add more color with zoas and frags.

Hoping to soak up some wisdom here. :)

Hi Laura

Welcome, I'm in Nashville as well and just joined. About to post my meet and greet as well.

Welcome to r2r. One suggestion if you are going to start adding more corals you may want to isolate those green star poylps as most of us find out the hard way they can spread like wild fire and grow over other corals.

Thanks for the comment. They look great right now. I've had both of them for about 8 months now. They were early additions to the tank. How do you suggest I isolate them?

+1 on the GSP isolation. I had a tank where I guess them to the back glass and let them go nuts and grow added some nice contrast. Plus I find trimming them off the glass pretty easy.

I have mine on an island with about a 2 inch gap between any other rocks.
