newbie from the uk

Ahhh so lovely we have another fine Individual from the UK join us here. this forum is amazing and all the people are lovely and have more knowledge than you can possibly imagine. When I was little we lived in Brentford and Manchester when I was quite young and I loved it. I miss going to Liverpool and I always had to see Aunt Mimi’s homes, and sadly I’m in Idaho lol. Love it here just well not Idaho per say lol. Living on the Oregon coast or Seattle or back east again would be grand. I was at Oxford for a semester during my junior year and lol I always messed the formals up in the beginning. I always had to wear jumpers when attending classes, which I had a different one per day lol. I always had something wrong with my trousers lol they were gentle on me. It also took me forever to since living in the states that when friends said to take this slip road or motorway I was like huh. When I moved I was I think 7 so hadn’t learn to drive yet.

What part of the Uk are you in, and I would love to see what they have for corals over there available meaning. Please feel free to ask for help any time and silly questions are the best ones well since they are silly.

Hi Sarah am in Liverpool, luving the stupidly hot weather were having here at the moment, apparently the last time it was this hot in Liverpool was in 1978 lol

Thanks to everyone for such a warm welcome

Am just finding my way around the site at the moment, gaining some more confidence to setup the tank.

Have had tropical fish for years, but watching finding nemo definately change that lol

My hubby has a bearded dragon so am making a new vivarium for him chunky is his name, but def do not like him, wouldn't harm him but cant feed him his live locusts or touch him, but he is cute. His last viv was mainly shelves and steps as he use to dive bomb from the top on his head when he was younger so we had to make it safe for him, now hes older am making it more like his habitat of logs

Wen i fininsh the viv for chunky then am setting up my tank

It’s funny finding Nemo it what persuasived me to get a salt water tank. The story about your breared dragon is hilarious, you could always make him a helmet. Don’t worry salt water fish do silly things also, like jump out of
Their tank where they breath water onto the floor where there is umm no water like at all lol except the driplets from them.

Been about three years since I had my study abroad at Oxford. My mum was born there, and wants to go back. Lol why she choose Idaho of all the states to choose is beyond my concept of understanding.
