Hi all,
I've been reading posts on this forum for months but finally had a reason to post (and join) today.
I'm new to this but my boyfriend isn't. We bought an existing system for a guy in our area who was moving. 240 gallons, tank, stand, sump, skimmer, pumps, etc. and also fish. Had it set up for 2 months, going well, and then about 10 days ago, the 240 gallon tank cracked from one corner to the other in a half moon shape and dumped all the water and all the fish... see that sad story here: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/longhorn-cowfish.371291/#post-4668548
We'll start up a new 300 gallon acrylic tank this weekend - after we get the concrete floors finished in the living room
. Hoping to avoid the crazy of the last time.
Really appreciate all the expertise here!
