Hi R2R reefers, I've been trying to digest as much info as possible here recently before i start my journey on a saltwater aquarium . I must say there's tons of information available but seems fairly overwhelming when trying to decide on what components to get.
Im liking SPS and soft corals, just amazed at the colors.
So far, based on my available space I've decided on 50 gal cube sized 24x24x20 tank with DIY base. Can anyone point me in direction of components required so i can then do research on brands & pricing.
My component list so far, but i'm assuming i may need more.
Powerhead
Lighting
Heater
Return pump
Heater
Rock
Skimmer/Filter

Thanks all !!

Welcome to reef2reef. Required components are going to vary depending on who you ask. May consider reading some posts in cube forum to see what has worked for people using similar size tanks.

Welcome aboard! Your list is solid, do you have any specific brands you're considering?

Welcome to R2R, a lot of reading on here. You should be able to find all that you need. I'd check out the member tank forum and read through some. It will help you to learn about what you could use for equipment etc...

Nothing specific as yet Oscaror . Don't want to break the bank but also don't want to buy crappy stuff that will have to be quickly replaced.
