We just started out tank a week ago tomorrow. I know we need to wait at least a month before adding any fish. We have added live rock to our tank. Is there anything else we need or should do to get it cycling?? Any advise for us is welcomed!!!!

Do whats called ghost feeding. Just take some fish food and drop it in the tank like you have fish in there. It'll break down and give the good bacteria something to eat. You can use a bottle of Tim's to kick stat the cycle if you want. Keep ghost feeding for as long as your cycle lasts.

!!!Welcome to R2R !!! Like Hijinks said, do a ghost feeding or add a bottle of Dr. Tim bacteria or even Seachem Stability bacteria since you already have live rock. You have to test for ammonia and nitrites. Bottom line is "go slow". Don't put any fish until ammonia and nitrites reads 0. Now, for test your Nitrite and Nitrates get a Salifert test kit, better and more accurate.
