Newbie Here

Hey Guys,

I am new to Reef2Reef. I have been bitten by the reef bug!! I have been officially diagnosed with coralitis. LOL. My dad had fish tanks both fresh and salt growing up. It was a very different hobby 35 years ago. So much has changed. I have a 5 month old 240 gallon mixed reef. I am learning all the names of equipment and corals and fish so please bare with me if I botch any of the three. I have been quietly reading every post I can to learn as much as I can. This site is priceless!!

Thank you!! My wife and I decided to stop treating our basement like a storage closet. This was my only request.

So far (and I have a looooong way to go) I favor my toadstool coral and my pair of hippo tangs.

What are yours?

Oh wow a pair of hippo tangs is awesome! My favorite at the moment is my flame angelfish named phawks. I have had him for about 4 years now. My favorite coral is either my 21 tails torch coral or my orange hammer coral! They are both beautiful.
