Hello! I'm Lara and new to sw. Been into freshwater for many years and just started a 60gallon FOWLR. Want to eventually try corals once I get the hang of things. I just bought some dry pukani rocks. The tank has been up for about 4months now with 20lbs of live rock, couple chromis, and clownfish, various shrimps and snails.

Question, after the pukani cures.. should I move fish into a bucket before moving existing rocks around to make room for pukani? Or can fish remain in tank? What is less stressful for them? I imagine stirring up rocks/sand will also stir up bad stuff too. Any advice? Also which configuration of rocks is best?

Welcome to Reef 2 Reef :)
I agree with @cromag08 keep the fish in the tank. and the arch scape

First of all, welcome to R2R. Cure the rock and put them in. Choose what ever design you like that meets the needs for flow and coral placement. You're the only one that gets to look at and enjoy it everyday so it's most important that you like it.

Thanks everyone! Hoping to get a pic of it after rock cures and I put in tank. (Gonna be awhile...lol)
