Newbie looking for advice

Hi just doing a quick update on the tank. Sorry about the cropped pics it is the only way I can upload them. Thanks for all the help so far and I have another Quick question for y'all. In my 10 gallon tank I have a wave maker that moves 560 gph. Is this too much? I know you can't tell in the picture but It causes a huge crater in my sand no matter how I position it so the big question is do I get larger grain sand or do I need to get a smaller wave maker?

I had a very successful 10 gallon about 6 years ago. I had powercompacts over it and a koralia nano powerhead in there with a HOB filter. I did regular water changes and all was well with wonderful color and growth on my corals. The only reason I upgraded to a 90 was I wanted more room!

Thanks for your response. For lighting I went with 2 compact coralife 50/50 bulbs giving me a total of 40 watts

Alright thanks I'll probably to the 240 then and use the 560 for mixing salt! Haha yes I have it in my tank for now because I am still getting the hang of mixing the salt and keeping my salinity in check. Thanks! I actually redid the aquascape when I changed the sand out but I used the same rocks! Here is what it looks like now

cool men!

to answer you. IMO 560gph is way to much for 10 gallons.! there is a koralia i think that is 240gph. i think that could work perfect for your tank.!

do you have the hydrometer inside the tank?

love your rocks!!
