Newbie looking to learn

Hi Guys, My name is Tim and I am brand new to this hobby. I am from the northeast part of CT and was looking for some information near by. Came across this reef society so figured I would say Hi.

I don't have many friends that are into the hobby so I have been asking a ton of questions but still find myself confused at times with the lack of knowledge. Any information would be great. Thanks
