Hi,

I am going to be recieving my first palys. I bought some really nice colors, not the green ones i normally see at my LFS.

Anyway, my question is: When i first put them in the tank what would you recommend for placement?

I have a 180 gal tank. 20k 250 watt MH lights on each side, with 130 watts PC actinics in center. I use spider reflectors for MH so their IS some MH light reaching the bottom center of the tank.

I have strong flow on the right side of tank and lower flow on left.

Any help would be appreciated so that acclimation goes the best possible.

Thanks,

Kevin

IMO - Start at the bottom for a few weeks in a moderate flow. Gradually move them to a spot where you feel thay are getting the color while remaining fully open.

Thanks! They are coming in next week and will try to take decent pics. Unfortunately I don't have a canon slr camera or whatever they are, to take pics as good as the ones they did of the mother colony. :)
