Newbie questions about Dr Tims One and Only

Setting up a nano 10 gallon tank. The instructions for Dr Tims are confusing……
- do you put the Amonia in the water first?
- how much one and only for 10 gallons? A capful per gallon or the whole small bottle?

Assuming you went with the smallest 2oz bottle, Dr. Tim's indicates this treats 30 gallons - so you'd want to use one third of the bottle. If you visit this website you can see the various sizes and how much it treats:
