Newbie RedSea Reefer 250 build.

This is my 1st aquarium that I purchased at my LFS. I was quite pleased with the packaging, quality and build ease of this RedSea tank. Emptied the box and had the tank up on the cabinet in just under 4 hours (including a quick dinner break and 1 you tube cheat video for some help with the cabinet door install)

Hoping to get the plumbing/sump in tonight and still need to tweak the doors a bit but overall things went well for day one. So excited!

It’s Carib Sea life rock. That’s about 30 pounds.

Hey @Badvegas I think I found your build thread. It coming along great!!! I’ve used something similar to the water weld I think. It makes your skimmer go nuts though.

We are up and cycling!! Trying to tweak the noise issue coming from the drain. And I had trouble getting the skimmer dialed in so I turned it off for now. That will be today’s project. Running 1 Ecotech MP40 at low speed for now. Added Dr Tim’s bacteria for startup and dosing ammonia started last night.
