I’ve just recently added my first coral to my tank. Now that I increased the lighting spectrum they seem to be doing fine. I’ve read here to relocate the clove polyps on the plug but am not sure how to do that. Also I’ve spotted a few of, what look like orange grains of rice. Can anyone tell me what they might be?

welcome aboard the r2r board!

the described "orange grains of rice" - do they move? are they flat? could be red planaria (flat worms).
any other describable features? can you try to take a clear picture under white light to be able to identify more accurately.
