Good morning fine people. New To the forum so just want to say hi and ask for some advise please. I'M not new to the fish keeping world but new to the world of having a tank with a sump, Got myself a great deal on a tank second hand and would love some advise on the kit that came with it, would it be ok to post some pictures for you guys and girls to point me in the right direction . That's great to know thanks . I have a eheim incpiria 300l was told it was a complete set up . I have never run a sump before so my main concerns will be the set up of this . I have attached several photos for this cheers. First concern is what should be connected were and what is the hole for in the back of the weir .It has a bubble magurs 5 skimmer and what looks to be a bubble magurs filter any advise on setup would be awesome thanks ps hope this iant to much for a first post

Welcome to R2R! It looks like a two drain setup. So you have the main drain on the left with the return line right next to it, and the emergency drain on it's own on the right, not sure the giant hole in the back though.

Well after speaking with company that made the tank the pipe work is done and the hole in the back is to drop wiring into the lower half .. My next question is I've ordered 40kg of live rock and have a few critters what you think .. Good or bad one is a snail of some kind the other looks to be Brown has some spots on it and a white under side
