Newbie Starting my vert first FOWLR HELP

Just began my first 20gal FOWLR

I am super nervous.

Live sand, salt water and live rocks have been in since Sunday 4/22. It is a bit cloudy still but I expected that.

However, my purple live rock is now white! Is that sand or is something happening?

Welcome!!! It’s possible you “shocked” the coralline (the purple) with different water parameters.

Have you added anything to start your bacteria growing? I recommend a raw shrimp, place in a brian shrimp net or nylon with a rubber band to keep close. Leave it in the tank for about three days then remove and throw out. Did you buy test kits, ammonia, nitrate, nitrite and PH, those are the basic ones needed.

Howdy! Like above have said, go slow. The coraline will come back. It's been shocked. Take your time. Also include what you have for filter, lighting and pics, if possible.
