So, it appears that outstanding live rock is hard to come by these days which I understand.
I am bringing up a 40 gallon breeder that will be SPS dominant.
Have stashed a large amount of Marco dry rock which has been soaked additionally to ensure there is no biological left overs of which there was none.
So, can anyone direct me to a coralline algae source (retail, e-commerce, R2R member, etc.)
I am in a rather RURAL area with no LFS for 160 miles.
I will be more than happy to compensate for the algae so I can get a start on populating this tank.
Thanks in advance.

I have had good luck in the past with introduction by snails and hermit shells.

There are a number of bottled products as well. I haven’t tried any of those. One product is called ‘Purple Up’.

I wouldn't go for Purple Up. It does nothing for seeding the coralline, only (somewhat) helps it grow. In order to seed it you'd either need some scrapings from another system that already has it, a small rock, a frag plug or as said above a snail or hermit crab that has coralline on their shell.

+1 snails. My 100 gal been going for about a year. I never added anything and back glass is almost covered

Thank you, sir. I appreciate the information.
