So I just started a new tank about a month ago so far I had a phosphate outbreak that I got it under control now I'm wondering if buying these (LIVE) Coraline algae from SaltwaterAquarium.com will actually help or is it a waste of my money? Thank you in advance

Corline won't grow in a new tank until the tank has matured with stable parameters and the right environment for it. You would be better to wait until your tank is ready and get a couple snails with real coraline on their shells then scrape some off to see the tank.

I agree with the above or some easy to keep and hardy frags with coralline on the plugs.

If you had algae grow ask your local store for 'flocculant'. Also make sure you have plenty of bacteria in your filter! Make sure to keep using Seachem Prime or something similar if you already added a few buddies until you stabilize your tank. Also keep a lower light schedule for now.
