Hello all...i am new to this site so thought i would introduce myself. Names Tammy, set my tank up in February, and it is a 60 gallon tank. I have a mated pair of fairy wrasse's, a pair of clowns, dartfish, yellow tang and a little bitty blue tang. I plan on upgrading to a 100 gallon soon! I have been pretty successful so far with no tragedies. I have a couple corals as well. I am most excited about my purple ribbon cause now it is covered in its pretty flowers. Other than trying to fill my tank up with more live rock i am really happy with my tank!

Welcome glad to have you!

Welcome to R2R! Wonderful people who are always willing to help can be found aplenty at this forum. Just in case you don't actually know what they are called, those "Flowers" are the polyps extending out so that the coral can feed. Feel free to share your equipment list and tank specs. Lastly, we LOVE pics...so your already on the right track. Good luck!

Ive actually had the purple ribbon for 3 weeks now and the polyps wouldnt come out so i finally moved it to the middle of the tank and now its happy and as beautiful as when i purchased it! Its my favorite coral i have.

Yea they are big on the correct flow to be happy as most gorgonian type corals are. I always end up moving them around before finding the final spot. I have three in my reef.

Welcome home, you'll love it here!

Great looking tank!
