Hello..I'm new to reefing and decided to start out with 3 300 gallon tanks lol..2 will be on 1 water supply and 1 will be on its own. Cycling will start through hypermax, then reef rollers, then protein skimmer. I'm stuck at this point and the large area in my garage that I dedicated for my remote sump set ups has quickly became crowded as I added a 200 gal mixing station. I'm researching calcium reactors and uv lights and algea scrubbers but not quite sure on the best way to finish this. All 3 tanks will house coral and fish. I'm trying for the most matenance free way into this hobby. I know there's always some sort of maintenance but I'm trying for the best modern approach I can take...any advice would be greatly appreciated..also there is a 100 gallon frag tank involved as well.

Holy cow, that's quite a dive for being new!

What made you want to start with 1,000gal of tanks as an initial investment?

I felt like I was getting in over my head starting with a 90! Can't wait to see some pics!

As for reducing maintenance I'd recommend starting with established wet rock and auto water change systems. As well as having a quarantine system for every fish being added. Here is the protocol.
