ok i noticed last night i am starting to get featherdusters, and ball tip anomes growing in my tank.does this mean my tank has completed its cycle when these things start to grow? I also found a bristtle worm. Im not sure how to tell if my dry rock live rock mix is supporting the bacteria needed. My skimmer is going nuts some days and pulling nothing on others.

Sorry if this is a stupid question but i am new to the hobby

How many days has the tank been running, how big and how much live rock did you use? And it most definitely is not a stupid question.:)

It has been running now for about 1 month i used about 30 percent live rock problay 20 lbs and 30 lbs dry rock. I tested and i have 0 amonia and 0 nitrites, I added a couple clowns to the tank and a few emerald crabs they seem healthy, they are eating and no signs of distress.

Sounds like the tank is cycled, just stock slowly and feed less then you're inclined to.

Have fun. :-)

You're welcome. :-)

Ok i need help again can anyonet tell me what this is and if its ok in my tank found it growing today
