Hello everyone!

After a mini vacation to Galveston, Tx with my boyfriend in June of this year, we were inspired by the hermit crabs we had found on the beach to start a small reef tank. We started out with a 20 gallon nano tank, live rocks, a true percula clownfish, bicolor blenny, scooter blenny, sea urchin, and a couple snails and hermit crabs.

Fast forward to today, we now have a 40 gallon with more live rocks. No corals yet but soon!! We have had a few setbacks with the fish but out of the three we had bought in the first place, we still have both the Blennies and the sea urchin! In additional to those two fish, we now have a diamond goby, chocolate mocha ocellaris, another ocellaris (cannot remember the species), valentini puffer, snowflake eel, cleaner shrimp, red fire shrimp, and a coral banded shrimp! We also have turned the 20 gallon nano tank into a hospital tank along with a 32 gallon tank.

We are still learning and loving the experience!! I decided to join the forums to get answers to give our new family the best care we can possibly give. I look forward to meeting you all and learning as much as I can.

Thank you! I will post pictures as soon as I am able. How can I do that though? I am glad to hear that you are enjoying this experience as well!!

Welcome to R2R...a lot of great information here. As far as posting pictures, best to put them in a third party site (photobucket as an example) and link them to this site. YouTube has plenty of tutorials.
