Welcome! I'm only about 3 months into it as well. I would throw some hermits and some snails in. In about a week. Don't rush. Trust me I learned the hard way. Oh and make sure you have a protein skimmer. It's a ball game changer in the end.

Depends on your plan for thebtank long run are you looking for a fish only tanknor a reef safe tank. Has your tank cycled or are you still in thst process.

What are your ideas? Corals or fish only? What did you add to the tank already (live rock, sand, dry rock, etc.)? Are you testing the parameters of the cycle? Do you have a quarantine set up to keep your new 50 gallon free of disease?

It's so exciting to get a new tank. The main thing is to be really slow and cautious because one bad addition can kill everything and leave you with a tank that has to sit empty for 10 weeks.
