I just joined. I live in Lantzville, BC, Canada (on Vancouver Island) and I keep a 140 gallon bow front tank with a 30 gallon refugium and 20 gallon sump. I've been a "reefer" for about 2 years.

Until I get some pics, I'll try throwing in some ideas that have worked well for me. Here's one ... I bought two small circulating pumps and installed them in my Ca and Bicarb dosing tubs. Each time the dosing pumps goes on (fired by the Apex) the little circulating pumps stir up the tubs reducing the Ca and Bicarb left on the bottom of the tubs.
