Hello every one and thanks for the add. I am starting a standard 55 gal reef tank with a banshee sump. I also have a ice cap algae scrubber that’s going to be installed also. I have the 48 60 current loop bundle that will be lights and pumps. I am now in the process of starting the install. I also have a AquaFX rodi system fir water. So I guess any info that would help would be appreciated regarding cycling, supplements, lighting, pretty much anything someone starting needs to know. Thanks

I’m 9 months in to my first reef tank. The main thing I suggest is that you do not go full dry rock to start. I would suggest full live rock or at least a mixture of dry and live. I got pretty discouraged for awhile by the ugly phase that lasted months in my tank and I contribute that partially to using exclusively dry rock.
